Horse Head Écorché

Aécorché of a horse head, built up from a primitive form, with overlayed muscles. Done in Chavant (medium) for Constructive Animal Anatomy. Completed May 2012.

For those who don't know, "écorché " is a French term meaning "flayed" and is used for artwork (sculptures, illustrations, etc) in which there is no skin, or the skin is being removed somehow.
