Arctic Fox (Vulpes lagopus)

My final for Electronic II. The original project was a concept design one, but I asked if I could do something Scientific instead. So I had to choose an animal, depict its skeletal structure, muscular structure, etc, and draw it in its environment. I chose the Arctic Fox because I kind of miss the North.

Completed March 11, 2012. Photoshop CS4 and Corel Painter 12.

I will probably be making revisions on this after critique. It's also now available in my Portfolio page.

Arctic Fox WIPS

Just a small preview of some of the work I’m doing for my Electronic II class. I still need to render the bottom part of the jaw in the first picture.

Moth Linework

Composition for my final for Drawing for Scientific Illustration. I'm going to be rendering it with carbon pencils on vellum. Never used those materials before, this should be fun. Here the male and female Actias luna are shown, finally together in the same picture.

I am also working on anatomical studies of an Arctic Fox for another final. They will be posted as they are completed.

I definitely have my work cut out for me, for the next week and a half.

Also, updated my Portfolio Page with additional works.
